With St. Patrick's Day less than a week away, it's time to think about where you'll be sipping on green beer for the evening. While some places are offering more standard Irish dishes, there are a few options for those who don't want corned beef and cabbage, too.
Taco Guild When: March 17 Cost: 17 cents per taco Yep, you read the cost right. On St. Patrick's Day, you'll be able to get Taco Guild's special green taco for less than a quarter. The taco consists of corned beef, chipotle mashed potatoes, and bacon all wrapped up in a green tortilla. Of course, if the taco makes you thirsty, they'll also have green beer, but theirs will be made by Cartel in Tempe.

Padre Murphy's When: March 17, 10 a.m. Cost: $10 cover after 3 p.m. As one of the Valley's top Irish pubs, Padre Murphy's will definitely have a St. Patrick's Day celebration worth checking out. Aside from the customary corned beef and cabbage to complement the green drink specials, there'll be live music, leprechauns, clowns, face-painting, and more.
Nabers When: March 17 Cost: $5 Guinness, Car Bombs, and Corned Beef & Cabbage specials While Nabers has never been known to be an Irish eatery, the traditionally country-themed bar and grill will be getting in on the action this year. We can't speak for everyone, but $20 (plus tax and tip) for a Guinness, a plate of corned beef and cabbage, and a couple of Irish car bombs seems like a pretty good way to hit the ground running on St. Patrick's Day.
Thirsty Lion When: Now through March 17 Cost: Varies by plate Now that Thirsty Lion has locations in both Tempe Marketplace and Scottsdale Fashion Square, the gastropub has expanded its menu to feature some seasonal offerings for St. Patrick's Day. With dishes such as bacon cheddar potato cakes, a Rueben pizza, and Irish lamb burgers, you'll be able to get a taste of Ireland without being stuck with the same corned beef and cabbage to complement your choice of beer.
Paul Martin's American Grill When: March 17 Cost: $15 Corned Beef & Cabbage For another classic St. Patrick's Day meal, Paul Martin's will be serving up the traditional corned beef and cabbage dish, complete with baby carrots and red potatoes. From 3 until 8 p.m., you'll be able to pair your Irish plate with happy hour specials, like $5 beer and wine or $9 premium cocktails.
RA Sushi When: March 17 Cost: 2 for $25 Sushi, $2 Green Hot Sake, $4 Jameson, and more If you're not a fan of corned beef and cabbage, RA might be the place you want to check out. For $25, two people can split four items off of a restricted menu, plus edamame. Couple that with a variety of drink specials, like a $6 Kuronama Car Bomb, and you'll be able to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with an Asian twist.
Tim Finnegan's When: March 17, 8 a.m. Cost: $10 cover after 3 p.m. In the event that you want to get your St. Patrick's Day celebration started early, Tim Finnegan's will be serving up a traditional Irish breakfast as soon as the doors open, and live music will begin merely an hour later. In addition to classic Irish food, there'll be bagpipers, stepdancers, and much more for entertainment, all the way until closing time at 2 a.m.
Tilted Kilt When: Now through March 17 Cost: Varies by plate The "Irish Hooley" menu at Tilted Kilt locations around the Valley consists of six classically Irish items. With everything from Scotch Eggs and Irish Stew to Shepherd's Pie and Corned Beef Hash, there are a wide variety of Irish dishes available for anyone who wants to make St. Patrick's Day into a week-long festivity.
Half Moon Sports Grill When: March 17, 11 a.m. Cost: $8 Corned Beef & Cabbage, $3 Green Coors Light At both the Phoenix and Moon Valley locations, Half Moon will be offering the classic corned beef and cabbage plate, with a side of potatoes, for $7.99 all day, along with green Coors Light on tap for $3 per glass. If you're feeling festive and wearing green, you'll also be able to get two-for-one Thin Mint shots all day and night until 2 a.m.
Phoenix City Grille When: March 17, 11 a.m. Cost: $4 Black and Tan Along with the Black and Tan special (made of Guinness and Four Peaks 8th Street Ale), Phoenix City Grille will also be serving up a traditional corned beef brisket with scalloped cabbage and potatoes O'Brien. Unlike some of the celebrations, which will be going strong until 2 a.m., Phoenix City Grille stops taking reservations at 9 p.m.
Miracle Mile Delicatessen When: March 17 Cost: Varies by plate For one of the Valley's longest-lasting St. Patrick's Day traditions, you can stop by Miracle Mile as they dish out corned beef and cabbage in Phoenix for the 66th straight year. While Guinness will be served, the whole idea is for it to be a family-friendly affair, where multiple generations can all enjoy a traditional St. Patrick's Day meal.
