Vegan eaters may already be familiar with New York Times bestselling author and chef Jason Wyrick, the executive chef of TheVeganTaste.com. And this Wednesday at 6 p.m. you can catch Wyrick at Mane Attraction Salon in central Phoenix where the chef will be hosting a complimentary cooking demonstration and signing copies of his latest cookbook, "Vegan Tacos: Authentic and Inspired Recipes for Mexico's Favorite Street Food." Lon's at the Hermosa Inn Thursday, October 23
We're not sure what makes this event a "pop-up" dinner but nevertheless, the exclusive dining event seems like a good excuse to wine, dine, and check out the underground wine cellar at Lon's at The Hermosa Inn. On Thursday the restaurant will host a "Pop-Up Wine Dinner" featuring Peju Family Estates. The four-course dinner will also be a chance to mingle with the eldest daughter of Peju co-founders Tony and HB Peju. The dinner is limited to 10 people and costs $150 per person. For a reservation call 602-955-7878.
