Real & Rare - A Rare Taste of Gilbert Thursday, November 13

There's a lot to do, see, and eat these days in Gilbert but unless you live in the area it can be quite a trek to get out there and experience it. That's why this Thursday, Local First Arizona is hosting Real & Rare - A Rare Taste of Gilbert. The event, a part of Local First Arizona and the Localist Program, will be a three-part tour of Gilbert's culinary destinations. The tour begins at Real Joe's BBQ, where attendees will get "dinner featuring traditional smoked fare alongside some unexpected choices." Next the group will head to Joyride Taco House for a tequila tasting, before moving along to Liberty Market for dessert. The final stop will be at Art Intersection for an exclusive guided tour of their current exhibitions and a silent auction. The tour starts at 6 p.m. and costs $40 for Localist members or $50 for non-members. For more information visit the Real & Rare website.
