Westgate Entertainment District -- the sprawling retail, dining, and entertainment destination in Glendale -- will welcome four new restaurants to the scene this week. That means four new places for Valley locals to love and four places to accommodate the deluge of visitors who will descend on the area over the next few weeks.

Westgate, located just steps from University of Phoenix Stadium, will also host the Super Music Series, a five-day free concert series, as a lead-up to the 2015 Pro Bowl and Super Bowl XLIX.

The new dining destinations at Westgate include the third Valley location of Fractured Prune, a popular doughnut shop that first arrived in Chandler last April. The Westgate location opened last week and lets customers build their own doughnuts by choosing a base doughnut as well as glazes and toppings. Pre-set combinations include flavors such as banana cream pie, French toast, and key lime pie.

A second Valley location of Hot N' Juicy Crawfish will open its doors at Westgate this Friday. The Las Vegas-based restaurant chain specializes in boiled seafood covered in a selection of Cajun-style sauces. Diners can choose from lobster, black and green mussels, four types of crab, and shrimp, each of which can be served with one of five sauces: Louisiana Style, Juicy Cajun, garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper, and Hot N Juicy.

A new gourmet Belgian waffle restaurant also will join the mix this week. Called Crave Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches, this spot comes from the owner of Razzleberriez Frozen Yogurt and will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Look for a variety of sweet and savory options including waffle sandwiches, salads, sweet waffle desserts. and shakes.

Finally, look for the new Opa Life Greek Cafe at Westgate. A Mediterranean with a full-line coffee bar and large patio, this spot serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
