Summertime in the Valley may be a scorcher, but the Arizona Biltmore, one of Phoenix's first resorts built in 1929 with the legendary Frank Lloyd Wright serving as the consulting architect, is playing it Hollywood cool.

As part of their Hollywood & Wine summer-long series featuring celebrity bands and Hollywood insiders revealing their movie secrets, the Biltmore is hosting wine tastings and dinners along with films celebrating our love affair with food -- and the prices are far less than a shopping trip through Beverly Hills.

Fridays are free, yes, free, start at 8 p.m., feature a tasting event with celebrity-owned wineries (think Francis Ford Coppola and Paul Newman) and a foodie film. Here's the schedule:

July 1st - Breakfast at Tiffany's July 8th - Waitress July 15th - Bottle Shock July 22nd - Babette's Feast
