64: Barbecue Rib Tips from Stacy's Smokehouse

If for some reason you can't seem to locate the purple, graffiti-covered building of Stacy's Smokehouse on Indian School Road in Central Phoenix, stick your head out the window and follow the aroma of "badass barbecue" courtesy of chef and owner Stacy Phipps.

Once inside, order up a half or whole pound of barbecue rib tips. Is it the best 'cue in Phoenix? Please, that argument is forever. Just grab a wad of napkins and settle in for some damn good eats.

What makes the rib tips at Stacy's so crazy tasty? Simply, the smokiness of tender pieces of pork slathered in Stacy's signature sugary-spicy sauce.

Once you've crushed the rib tips, grab a hunk of homemade cornbread and get to soppin' up every last drop of the gooey sauce -- not that we need to tell you. And at just six bucks for a half pound, this 'cue might be one of the best deals in the Valley.
