100: Beckett's Original Grilled Cheese from Beckett's Table

Sometimes we roll our eyes at places that claim to have "world famous" or "original" menu offerings, but Justin Beckett can go ahead and call this grilled cheese anything he wants, provided we keep getting to enjoy this indulgent take on an "All-American" classic.
Beckett's Original Grilled Cheese isn't even in the same category as poor ole mom's Kraft singles and white bread. (Sorry, Ma!) A blend of four melty cheeses oozes out from between buttery, cheese-sprinkled brioche, accented by crispy strips of pancetta that add a meaty crunch. Even the humble bowl of tomato soup that accompanies the sandwich is elevated by the smoky sweetness of roasted red bell peppers and blended to a silky bisque-like texture.

Mom would definitely approve.
