Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Beer, BBQ, & More Beer
Louis Dolgoff, founder of the Beer for Brains Foundation is at it again -- this time he has joined forces with the owner and chef of Bryan's Black Mountain Barbecue, Bryan Dooley, for an evening of craft brews and savory BBQ. Monday, September 12th, enjoy a  four-course meal starting with Bryan's Smoked sausage and continuing with a warm tomato and asparagus salad, BBQ Cabrito Brunswick Stew, and cardamon snickerdoodles with blackberry and desert honey ice cream. Each course with be paired with two expertly selected brews from Maui Brewing Co, Full Sail, Deschutes, and Dogfish Head. The dinner is limited to 60 people. Tickets are $60 ++ per person. Chai Cookies

We'll be totally honest with you, this is a selfish pick.  Visions of an iced dirty chai latte from Cartel were stuck in our head when we stumbled upon these beautiful cookies -- and now we want cookies.
