Ah, the perks of summer in AZ.
Order three courses off of Bourbon Steak's regular menu, and I promise you won't come in at under $55 a person. But for that price, you can get a three-course tasting menu at the swanky Fairmont Scottsdale steakhouse -- as long as you get yourself there by September 15.
First Course (a choice of the following): English pea soup with buttered-brioche croutons and mint cream
Gulf shrimp tortellini with oyster mushrooms and Thai coconut curry
Green goddess salad (watercress, heirloom tomato, parmesan)
Second Course (choice of entree from the wood-burning grill, with chef's selection of side dishes): Scottish salmon
All-natural skirt steak
Third Course: Passion fruit panna cotta

I've tried the panna cotta and the beignets, and while they're both tasty, I give my vote to the panna cotta (pictured above). With fresh tropical fruits, milky pudding, and fragrant lemongrass consomme, it's one of the most remarkable flavor combinations I've come across in awhile -- so summery.
