10: Breakfast Enchiladas from Perk Eatery
There's waking up to breakfast and then there's breakfast waking us up.
Perk Eatery, the family-owned breakfast and lunch spot in Scottsdale, knows how to jump start our mornings -- especially when they decide to whip up their breakfast enchiladas. Sure they're a special, so when you see 'em on the board, put the homemade corned beef country style hash on hold (for now), and order up, pronto.
Hearty fare that brings the heat, Perk Eatery's breakfast enchiladas boast two tortillas stuffed with tender, slow-roasted pork, chipotle cream filling, and spicy New Mexico red chili sauce topped with two, made-to-order eggs.
This lively dish isn't shy about spiciness and its heartiness makes it a great way to start the morning. And if, during or after consumption, you make the decision to switch out that hot coffee for something a bit more "fire-friendly," we can't say we'd blame you.
