Other wine bars in town might have fancier, more exclusive wine lists. But Postino continues to be a perennial favorite because -- like all of the restaurants from Upward Projects -- it appeals to the every-man. Each of the three Valley locations delivers a lively atmosphere that feels right almost any time of day and a selection of interesting wines that won't break the bank.
Want a leisurely lunch? Postino. How about a late-night date spot? Postino. Even Postino's Sunday brunch wins points for having live music, a light menu, and plenty of patio seating.
And no matter what meal we're at the restaurant and wine bar for we almost always order a bruschetta board. It works as either a light meal for one or a great shared starter -- assuming you and your table mates can decide on just four of the many selections. Our go-to toppings include the classic brie and apples with fig spread, the garlicky spicy white bean with chopped tomato, and the prosciutto with figs and creamy mascarpone.
