Check, Please! Arizona Festival: James Beard Award Winning Chefs, Dozens of Restaurants, and More -- Here's the Lineup So Far

Last year Channel 8 hosted the first Check, Please! Arizona Festival at CityScape in downtown Phoenix. The event, which New Times co-sponsors, is back this year on Sunday, March 30 and will again bring out more than 30 local independent restaurants and three of the Valley's James Beard Award winning chefs.
This weekend is also your last chance to buy tickets for the special price of $59. On March 2 ticket prices will rise to $69 and will cost $79 on the day of the event.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 30. As with last year's event all the participating restaurant will have appeared in episodes of Check, Please! Arizona, the two-time Emmy Award-winning series in which fans dine and review three local restaurants.
In addition to food and drink samples from local restaurants, breweries, and wineries, attendees can look forward to wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, and a discussion panel.
This year's festival will bring back the popular James Beard Award winner discussion panel, which will again be lead by the show's host, James Beard Award winning chef Robert McGrath. He'll be joined by chefs Nobuo Fukuda and Christopher Gross. addition to food and drink samples from local restaurants, breweries, and wineries, attendees can look forward to wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, and a discussion panel.
