Chef Michael Stebner Leaves Greene House For New True Food Kitchen

executive chef Michael Stebner is still staying in the fold with Fox Restaurant Concepts, which owns The Greene House, at Kierland Commons, as well as True Food Kitchen, set to open Monday, October 27, at Biltmore Fashion Park.

True Food Kitchen is the anticipated new concept spawned by a collaboration between restaurateur Sam Fox and healthy lifestyle guru Dr. Andrew Weil. The sleek new eatery, located in the space that used to be a Coffee Plantation (it's since had an eco-friendly redesign), is "not a health food restaurant," according to Fox. That said, the seasonal food is intended to be as good for you as it is craveable.

Pacific wild bass with white beans, smoked garlic, and preserved lemon. Along with coffee, wine, beer, and sake, True Food Kitchen will serve house-made energy drinks and juice cocktails as well.

Before departing The Greene House, Stebner also launched a new all-day menu that will combine favorites from the previous lunch and dinner menus, as well as a few new dishes, including warm brie with roasted elephant garlic and sour cherries; mahi tacos; and strawberry-rhubarb cobbler with creme fraiche.
