CLOSING: Downtown's Uno Mas Mex1can Grill on June 27
After Thursday, June 27, visitors and business types can scratch one less Mexican eatery from downtown Phoenix. Uno Mas Mex1can Grill is shuttering.
Lasting less than a year, the fast-casual Mexican restaurant, located on First Avenue north of Adams Street, was opened in September 2012 by owner Carlos Moreno Garcia.
Open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays only, Uno Mas offered wallet-friendly, familiar Mexican favorites like tacos, burritos, and enchiladas as well as "north of the border" dishes like cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches, and Buffalo wings.
A note on the restaurant's Facebook page reads as follows:
"With a little sadness on our part, but lots of thanks and love to our wonderful patrons, we are announcing the closing of Uno Mas Mex1can Grill on June 27. Please stop by and say 'adios' to our loyal crew, we'd like to do the same for you."
