Fred's at Barneys had announced their new series of wine dinner that will be held on the first Tuesday of every month starting April 6th. The first dinner in the series will feature a four-course dinner with wine pairing from California winery Stonestreet. Reservations are required and tickets are $75 per person. Tomorrow night, The Avalon will celebrate their first anniversary by presenting "Fools Gold" an evening of cocktails, food, and fashion. Live music by Anna Maria Quartet and the RKT Project plus a fashion show from Moody Blues. Forty dollars gets you in the door, hors d'oeuvres, and two complimentary beverages. Eat more cookies! For the entire month of April, Paradise Bakery & Café will be donating 10% of all cookie sales to Free Arts of Arizona, a nonprofit organization that works to inspire creativity in abused, homeless and at-risk children. Click here to find a location near you.
Kudos to Trader Joe's! The company recently announced that they will sell only sustainably sourced seafood by December 31, 2012. This applies to all seafood products frozen, fresh, or canned. The decision comes after months of being pressured by environmental groups to change their policies.
