Corbin's Bar and Grill in Sunnyslope Has Closed
Since opening in 2005, Corbin's Bar & Grill has been an essential part of the Sunnyslope neighborhood. The restaurant and bar offered elevated grill fare, reasonably priced drinks, and a lively atmosphere -- in short, all the makings of a solid neighborhood hangout. Unfortunately, the restaurant's time has come to an end.
As of last weekend Corbin's Bar & Grill has closed its doors for good. The news came in the form of an announcement on the Corbin's Bar & Grill Facebook, which cited financial reasons as the cause of the restaurant's closure.

Dear Loyal Corbin's Customers,
After almost a decade Corbin's has regretfully decided to close our doors. Due to circumstances beyond our immediate control we are unable to continue funding daily operations here. I am sure you all know this was not an easy decision for us to make. There are simply too many people to say thank you to, and so many incredible experiences to recount. We are grateful to our staff, investors, family and friends. You have made this experience unforgettable and we cannot thank you enough for your continued support, loyalty, and patronage. And we wish you all the best and hope to see you in the future. Please stop in and say goodbye to us during our final days, we will remain open until Saturday May 31st 2014.

Owner Kevin McNeill opened Corbin's at 8729 N. Central Avenue almost a decade ago and for a short while also operated a second location at 19420 N. 59th Avenue in Glendale. The restaurant served lunch, dinner, and even Sunday brunch, with happy hour deals including $2.75 draft beers and $6 house martinis.
The menu included options such as Mesquite Smoked Pork with BBQ sauce and Crème Frâiche, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, and Chicken Pot Pie Crepes with chicken, carrots, celery, peas and Shitake mushrooms, topped in Hollandaise sauce.
