Yesterday I finally hit up the new weekend brunch at Postino Central, and it was pretty much exactly what I expected in the way of breakfast-y grub from the popular wine bar.
Grilled focaccia with herbed butter and asparagus hit the spot, with thick, barely charred bread that soaked up the yolk from two gooey, overeasy eggs. It was served with a zingy little salad of tomato salad.
The restaurant was busy, but there wasn't a wait, and our server let us hang out and gab over glasses of freshly squeezed OJ. Live music out on the patio added to the relaxing vibe.
Brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
