Beerfest!
Tomorrow, June 12th, the Irish Cultural Center is the place to be. The Irish Cultural and Learning Foundation will be celebrating "Bloomsday" with The 4th Annual Bloomin' Beerfest. Bloomsday is a celebration commemorating Irish author James Joyce and his novel Ulysses. The event will feature specialty beers produced and poured by members of the Arizona Brewers Guild. And plenty of fish and chips and Irish music will be on hand. Tickets are $35 at the gate and include tokens for beer and food. Details here.

Strawberries Galore
Pack up the family and get out of the heat for a day by taking a trip to Pine. The 20th Annual Strawberry Festival is happening Saturday 9 - 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 - 4 p.m. at the Pine Strawberry Community Center off Highway 87. Plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied and more strawberry treats then you could ever imagine: rom pies to jam to shortcake and everything in between.
