More than a few people consider Quiessence the best restaurant in this town and a big part of that repuation has to do with the talents of chef Greg LaPrad. For eight years he's made the South Mountain restaurant a destination for diners and we couldn't be sadder to see him go.

For die-hard fans it's going to be a hard loss to bear. But might our suffering be partially assuaged if we were able to attend LaPrad and executive chef Tony Andiario's invitation-only Farewell Feast? You bet.

Good news is there are two tickets to the event up for grabs through a contest posted on the Quiessence Facebook page. Entering is simple: Just comment on the contest photo and share your favorite Quiessence memory, or why you love the restaurant.

The winner will receive two seats at the exclusive, invite-only Farewell Feast on Friday, June 7 -- a chance to dine with Quiessence restaurant fans, family and farmers and the chefs' peers and colleagues.

And even if you don't win you can still grab a last meal at the restaurant before LePrad leaves on Saturday, June 15. After that though you'll have to trek down to Sonotia where he plans to open a "true destination restaurant" in Southern Arizona's wine country.
