What'd you eat for dinner last night? A bowl of Shredded Wheat with raisins--I was too sick to leave my house, and it was all I had.

Favorite food: I love sandwiches, across the board, but I also love pizza, so it's hard to choose one over the other. I am allergic to milk, so cheese presents difficulty.

Least favorite food: I'm pretty fussy, so this is a difficult question. Right now, the idea of split pea soup sounds awful.

Favorite dessert: They're called "Hello Dollie's," a super-dense mix of coconut, graham crackers, chocolate, walnuts and Grandma's love. But you can also buy them at some places as "Magic Bars" (believe me, the homemade ones are much better).

Favorite local restaurant and meal to order there: Right now, That's A Wrap. I get the Prince of Thai's made with tofu. I could eat it every day. But, I also dig the new vegan sandwich at Sapna Cafe.

Favorite local bar and cocktail to order there: Bikini Lounge cocktails, and I get amaretto sours.

Favorite thing to cook at home: Baked potatoes, or breakfast burritos.

Favorite memory involving food: In college, a bunch of friends showed up unexpectedly at midnight, we pooled our money and skills and made an epic pot of pasta and sauce. The smell of garlic still reminds me of friendship.

Recipe or food tip to share: Chicken Finger Sandwich: 3 or 4 deep fried chicken fingers, shaken in buttery hot sauce (should be thoroughly covered). Lay over grilled sourdough bread that has been fixed with provolone cheese and a thick spread of blue cheese (NOT ranch). Serve warm with cross-cut french fries dressed in vinegar. Side of extra blue cheese. This was an item at a restaurant I used to work at in Buffalo, N.Y.--where everything has blue cheese on it, and almost everything is deep-fried or slow-cooked in a crock pot. Not healthy, but delicious.
