Tomorrow, November 17th, Lon's at the Hermosa
will be hosting an All Arizona Wine Dinner
-- and when they say "all" they really do mean all. Not only will all of the wines be from Arizona -- even the roasted beets and the lamb chops will have been Arizona born and raised. The Lon's team is known for putting together spectacular menus and tomorrows menu is no different. Sonoma foie gras mouse, roasted McClendon Beets, Black Mesa Prosciutto with Fossil Creek goat Havarti, pecan grilled Arizona quail, Ellensburg lamb, and house made ricotta cheesecake are all paired with wines from five different Arizona wineries. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and will run you $99 ++ per person. Seating is limited. Call 602-955-7272 for reservations.
Black Bean Soup
Did you know that yesterday was National Clean Out Your Fridge Day? We didn't find out until this morning so we're going to celebrate a day late by giving our fridge a good cleaning this evening. On second thought, maybe we'll whip up a batch of this Spicy Black Bean Soup
instead. Fridge cleaning can wait!
