Maggiano's Fall Wine Dinner
No need to cook tonight. Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant in Scottsdale is hosting their annual Fall Wine Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m.  Start with poached oysters served in an artichoke heart and topped with caviar. Continue the evening with Bucatini alla Matriciana, Roasted Figs & Pecorini Romano, Grilled Flank Steak with fall harvest veggies, and for dessert, Semifreddo al Amaretto.  $60 per person, all inclusive. Pastry Tacos

A turnover could pass for a breakfast or a dessert taco of sorts. They are crispy and stuffed with delicious fillings. Okay maybe this is a stretch for Taco Tuesday but after coming across a few bags of roasted Hatch chilis in our fridge, we couldn't resist sharing this recipe. Apple Hatch Chili Turnovers. Apple pie filling paired with spicy Hatch chilis in a flaky puff pastry crust. We hope that you are lucky enough to have some chilis stashed in your fridge. Yum!
