What'd you eat for dinner last night? I had a bunch of mini-candy bars. It was the only thing on my desk.
Favorite food: Mac n' cheese--I have a sophisticated palate.
Least favorite food: Anything with coconut on it. Yuck.
Favorite dessert: Bailey's Cheesecake at Rula Bula.
Favorite local restaurant and meal to order there: I really like the Potato Leek Soup with Stilton Cheese at Cornish Pasty Co.
Favorite local bar and cocktail to order there: I do not drink, but the Mountain Dew at Macayo's is pretty good.
Favorite thing to cook at home: Vegetarian chili.
Favorite memory involving food: My grandma use to let us beat the schnitzel when were will little with a wooden mallet. It was fun but may explain why I don't eat meat now.
Recipe or food tip to share: Finally figured out the best "cheese" sauce for vegan mac n' cheese this Thanksgiving (I love real cheese, but I have people in my life who do not).
2 cups Daiya cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Tofutti sour cream
3 tbsp margarine
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Make sure to blend it up in a food processor or use one of those blender sticks--makes it creamy.
