Petite Maison Brings Back Offal Dinner for Halloween Weekend
For fans of offal (pronounced awful), those delicious odds and ends of animals, or for those curious enough to want to take a taste or two, Petite Maison, the charming little French eatery in Scottsdale, is serving up something special this Halloween weekend -- and if it's as popular as it was last year (we loved it), you'll want to make your reservations in a hurry.
This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening, October 28, 29, and 30, chef James Porter will be treating guests to Petite Maison's second annual Offal Halloween Dinner. Due to its sell-out status last year, two additional nights have been added to the four-course, wine-paired dinner of curiosities like pickled pork trotters, Kung Pao sweetbreads, and foie gras ice cream.
For the full menu and how to make reservations, follow the jump.
First Course Pickled Pork Trotters and Snout Terrine with Arugula Salad and Radish Pinot Blanc - Rene Mure - Alsace - France
Second Course Kung Pao Sweetbreads with Crispy Pigs Ears Beaujolais - Roux Pere & Fils - Beaujolais
Third Course Braised Beef Heart with Roasted Veal Tongue and Horseradish Cabernet Sauvignon - Stratton Lummis
Dessert Foie Gras Ice Cream & Sonoron Root Beer Float with Candied Arizona Dates Vidal-Fleury - Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise
The second annual Offal Halloween Dinner at Petite Maison is $60 per person including wine, plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited and reservations are required. To make yours, call 480-991-6887.
