Scottsdale-based Pomo Restaurant Group recently announced plans to open a fourth location of Pomo Pizzeria in Glendale. The restaurant already has two locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix, as well as a third location that's currently under construction in Gilbert.

The newest Pomo Pizzeria will take over the space formerly occupied by Tutti Santi by Nina at 19420 North 59th Avenue at Glendale's Citadelle Plaza Shopping Center. The restaurant also will include a new Italian bistro and market concept, the first of its kind from the restaurant group.

The 6,500-square-foot restaurant will serve the Neapolitan-style pizzas for which the restaurant group has become well known. And, yes, they'll be made in a wood-fired oven imported from Naples, Italy. The space will include an indoor/outdoor bar, as well as a "unique Italian feel feel independent of the other [three] locations."

Along with the fourth location of Pomo Pizzeria, the company will introduce a new concept called Toscana Osteria. The casual Italian bistro-style restaurant will serve "classic and authentic Italian dishes, inspired from Tuscany and Emilia Romagna Cuisine. Look for handmade pastas and entrees featuring chicken, veal, pork, and seafood.

The new spot also will include Il Sogno Toscano, an Italian market. Diners and shoppers will be able to purchase products imported from Italy, and for the first time, Pomo chef Gaia Bianchi will host a series of cooking classes called "Under the Tuscan Sun."

The original location of Pomo Pizzeria in Scottsdale opened in 2010. The restaurant is known for its authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas and is a member of Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana a "Naples, Italy-based organization designated by the Italian government to cultivate the discipline of Neapolitan pizza."
