After closing in January, Roosevelt Growhouse has put down some new roots, and it's welcoming volunteers to help get the new location up and running.

Each Saturday this spring, Growhouse 2.0 will be hosting Garden Volunteer Days from 8 to 11 a.m. Already underway, Garden Volunteer Days will involve everything from digging, seeding, and planting to painting, installing irrigation, and putting down mulch, all in an effort to make the new Growhouse blossom.

Garden Volunteer Days will be on the following dates this spring:
  • April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29
  • May 6, 13, 20, and 27
Summer Garden Days will be June 24 and July 22, and Fall Garden Days will begin on August 24.

The new Growhouse is located at 1025 East Second Street in the Roosevelt Row Arts District/Evans Churchill Neighborhood. Volunteers are asked to park in the Growhouse lot only.
