The Interior: The name is definitely fitting for this log cabin-esque Scottsdale spot. The inside feels like a place you'd find in the middle of a forest in the Pacific Northwest. Taxidermy animals and antlers aplenty make up the décor of the large L shaped space and the fireplace gives it that cozy "I just got done skiing" feel. Lots of TVs, a pool table, plenty of seating, and one of the better patios in Scottsdale.
The Cost: 2 Coors Lights, 2 Lodge Beers, Nachos and Cheese Curds plus tax = $21
The Conclusion: The Lodge is awesome. Not your typical Scottsdale, look-at-my-bedazzled-Ed-Hardy-shirt kind of place (at least not during happy hour). Walking into a new place, especially in Scottsdale, can sometimes be a challenge, but walk into the Lodge and you will feel at home right off the bat. The staff was extremely friendly, especially the bartender Kiki. She was totally on point and put up with all of the annoying questions about the "Pear Erasers" and other specialty drinks that two beer drinker girls had never heard of.

SHOW ME HOW
The appetizer portions are pretty big. The nachos are made with cheese sauce instead of shredded cheese(bonus!) and they don't skimp on the jalapenos and guacamole. The perfectly fried cheese curds were terribly addicting and went fast. On draft is your typical popular selection of beers such as Miller Light, Guinness, Stella, Blue Moon, and Sierra Nevada. They have a decent selection of domestic beer in bottles and for you craft beer snobs, Stone IPA and Moose Drool are on the list.
Make sure to put The Lodge on the list for a great happy hour.
