Let's face it: As groovy a bar as Mickey's Hangover might be, the name of this retro-fabulous Scottsdale scenester joint really lends itself to a breakfast spot.

SHOW ME HOW
Well, nobody's turning off the beer tap at the bar, but now the folks at Mickey's really are going to help up nurse our hangovers. Starting this Sunday, July 6, they'll be offering a weekend brunch menu, served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
It looks tasty, too. Breakfast starters include pumpkin fritters with cinnamon whipped mascarpone, as well as Mexican bruschetta (with spicy refried beans, scrambled eggs, and jack cheese on bolillo, with sides of pico de gallo, salsa, and sour cream). Among the main dishes, look for a "pancake flight," changing weekly, chilaquiles, croque madame, and even a "breakfast burger," topped with a sunny-side-up egg and homemade ketchup, with a side of tater tots.
I have a feeling that hair o' the dog will be a highlight here. "Adult beverages" include a bloody mary, Arcadia Backyard Lemonade (with aged rum), and a mimosa flight of three 3 oz. tastes.
Mickey's Hangover is at 4312 N. Brown Ave. in Scottsdale. Call 480-425-0111 for more info.
