Three Things to Eat, Drink, and Bake this Weekend
There's no rest for the wicked -- or the hungry. This weekend is a busy one for me (work, work ,school, work, work, and then work some more) which won't leave much time for eating out, partying, or really much of anything. BUT if someone hadn't already planned my weekend for me then I would totally be doing the following three things.
Eat This: Dark Chocolate M&M's -- Back in 2008, M&M's came out with the greatest of all the great M&M flavors -- Crispy Mint. I bought so many bags, I actually had almost an entire desk drawer full of them. The chocolatey mint candies vanished from shelves after a few months but now they're back -- this time in dark chocolate form (and they are no longer crispy).
An angel dropped a bag off at my desk yesterday claiming they were from a nearby Circle K. I accidentally ate the whole bag in like five minutes so I'll be out searching for more. Coincidentally, they taste a lot like those popular Thin Mint cookies the little girls in green are pawning off on all of right now -- but in M&M form. Drink This: The Grape Arizona Wine Event -- Sunday, January 29th, the Musical Instrument Museum will be hosting their 2nd Annual Grape Wine event which will feature tastings from nine Arizona wineries. The tasting starts at 5 p.m. and will run you $75 but it's for a good cause and if you get there early, you'll be able to take a tour of the museum. Wanna know more? Click here.

Make This: A 30 Layer Rainbow Cake -- Hell. Yes. A whooping 30 layers of brightly colored cake all wrapped up with a pretty layer of white cream cheese frosting. Supposedly, it only took ten boxes of cake mix and four batches of frosting. I can't wait till I have a reason (and the time) to make one these!
