Paul Abercrombie must be a booze psychic.
His new book, Organic, Shaken and Stirred, is full of delicious-sounding, organic, exotic cocktails that I want to drink all summer long.
There's the Arboretum, with vodka, green Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur, agave nectar, orange bitters, basil leaves, and cucumber (that has my name all over it), a cherry tomato Daiquiri with organic rum, a saffron margarita (holy cow!), and, after all that drinking, a detox margarita with aloe vera juice (of course, it still has tequila and Cointreau, too).
Want to meet the libations guru? Then you're in luck.
Tonight, he'll be the special guest at the Camelback Inn, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. He'll sign copies of his new book (you get their own copy with the $30 price of admission) as guests learn about mixing some of his creations and enjoy organic cocktails, wine, and nibbles. Visit Foodies Like Us
