At least, that's what OpenTable did. The online restaurant-reservations service used more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 U.S. restaurants to select the 100 "hottest" -- that is, those that highlight "hip (new) restaurants, celebrity chefs and avant-garde restaurateurs."

Two restaurants in Scottsdale made the list.

Searsucker, the second location of Top Chef Brian Malarkey's restaurant of New American cuisine (the original is in San Diego), snagged one of the spots. The Scottsdale Searsucker is also one of OpenTable's top spots in its "Vibrant Bar Scene" category.

Also making the list is the chic Japanese cuisine restaurant Sushi Roku, which has sister locations in West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Las Vegas.

For more information on all 100 winners, go to the OpenTable website.
