Tonight join 5th & Wine for a special lesson in two of our favorites, wine & bruschetta, the perfect combo. Starting at 6 p.m. manager Scott Yanni will be discussing different types of bruschette and giving you the low down on what wine to pair them with. Sample two white, two red wines and nosh on bruschette all for just $15 per person.
Colorado Beer Dinner
Wednesday, June 30th at 6 p.m. Mesa pizza spot Flancer's will be hosting a can't-miss beer pairing dinner. The meal will be made up of four course starting with Denver quiche and finishing up with berry shortcake. Each course will be paired with a different Colorado beer from Left Hand Brewery, Avery, Ska and Great Divide. $35 per person plus tax and tip. Call 480-396-0077 to RSVP.
Yes it's 110 outside but sweet corn is still in stores and if there is one thing that you try this week it's this soup (trust us,we made it this weekend). Rich, creamy Corn Soup with Butter Poached Lobster and Chive Oil is sinfully good. If you have trouble finding lobster (like we did), substitute Langostino sauteed in butter, available at Sunflower Market.
