Arizona Comes Together for Tucson Shooting Memorial

The Green Valley Fire District raised the American flag to celebrate the Beyond events at La Posada in Green Valley, Arizona on January 7th, 2012. The Beyond events honor the victims of January 8 2011.

This weekend Arizona residents commemorated what has come to be know as the "Tucson Tragedy." On January 8, 2011, Jared Lee Loughner opened fire outside a Tucson Safeway killing six and wounding 14 including U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords. On the one year anniversary, residents from across Arizona and the country, came together in a show of support for those impacted by the tragedy. PHOTOS BY KEITH PERFETTI.
