Canal Convergence Lit up the Night With Art

"Desert Sun" by Jotta Studios is quite delightful.
Canal Convergence has been a Scottsdale staple since 2012 and there's nothing like it in the Valley. This time around it goes for two weekends, February 23 and 24 and March 2 and 3, giving local art lovers more time to enjoy installations from around the world. It goes from 4 to 10 p.m., but the best time to go is after nightfall when the art comes to life with light. But that's not all: There's live music, performances, and even workshops where attendees can participate and take home their own art. Our favorite was the Barter Boat where, in exchange for a small possession, you get a curated bag of treasures from another city. So, don't forget to empty your junk drawer before heading out to Canal Convergence.
