With more than 732 blue-to-clear spires, the Sapphire Star stands near the entrance of Dale Chihulys artisan creations on display at the Desert Botanical Desert.
Tacoma-based glass artist Dale Chihuly is one of the most famous glass blowers in the world. Five years after his first exhibition at the Desert Botanical Gardens, the artist is back with his Chihuly in the Garden exhibit, which will be on display through May 18, 2014. Set against the beautiful Sonoran Desert, his glass creations tend to blow you away, especially after dark.
