January 23, 2012 marked the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon. The best place in the valley to celebrate was at the Phoenix Chinese Cultural Center. The festival was held outdoors in beautiful weather and there was some delicious Asian, and non-Asian food among the Chinese art and entertainment. PHOTOS BY WILLIAM WESTFALL.
