Running until May 16, 2010, Mesa Art Center's current exhibition, "Stare," features drawings and paintings by artist Chris Rush created during the last 15 years. It spans three separate bodies of work and includes intimate portraits of mentally and physically disabled subjects, drawings on antique letters, documents and book pages and drawings on 19th century school slate boards made for children. Here's just a sampling of what can be seen in the show.
