First Friday in Downtown Phoenix, 7/5/13

1 of 43

Out on Fifth Street for First Friday.

The galleries and venues of Roosevelt Row, Grand Avenue, and other locations throughout Downtown Phoenix’s art scene were alive with activity on Friday, July 5, for the latest First Friday monthly art walk. As per usual, there was much to see, like the painted skateboards at Phoenix Art Spaces, new exhibitions at eye lounge and Modified, flash art at Golden Rule Tattoo, or all the interesting-looking people and the occasional cosplayer strolling down the sidewalk (including Tonto and the Lone Ranger). Also, our travels took us through to popular coffee spot Jobot to check out its new look and through the Phoenix Art Museum for the current Art of Video Games exhibition.
