The Grand Avenue Pizza Company celebrated its first month of late night pie slinging with a little song, a little dance, fire, spray paint and, of course, pizza.
Being a truly late-night food joint in Downtown Phoenix is a rarity that is much needed and kindly welcomed. General Manager Carson Wheeler invited Alex Djentrification to spin tunes, Angel Diaz to do live painting on the back wall, and Jessica Packard to flaunt her fire dancing skills while patrons enjoyed pizza concoctions. Don't worry if you missed it, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get in on the action Tuesdays through Sundays from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m.
