The outstanding oeuvre of filmmaker Wes Anderson, which include eight memorable flicks, was feted on Saturday, May 10, at Rips Ales & Cocktails during the latest edition of monthly dance party Obscura. Several attendees came dressed as their favorite characters (such as Max Fischer from Rushmore and Richie Tenenbaum from The Royal Tenenbaums) to the event, which also celebrated the release of the recent I Saved Latin - A Tribute to Wes Anderson compilation album featuring covers of some of the many songs featured in his films.
