The Jolly Roger was flying high as landlubbers from around the Valley celebrated National Talk Like a Pirate Day by dressing like Captain Jack Sparrow and downing plenty of grog at a few Tempe bars on Saturday, September 19. Watering holes like Monkey Pants Bar and Grill, Time Out Lounge, and the Olive Branch Mediterranean Restaurant were overrun by all manner of buccaneer, privateers, and scallywags.
