The 2018 Phoenix Rock Lottery Ruled

The 2018 edition of the Phoenix Rock Lottery was a blast as usual on Saturday, January 28, at Crescent Ballroom. The five bands on the bill each formed at 9 a.m. yesterday, and had to write and perform three original tunes and a cover song in front of a packed house. Some bands were definitely better than others, but there weren't any complete train wrecks where any of the musicians got completely lost playing their brand-new tunes.
