As a native Ft. Collins-er, I naturally have attended all of he Tour De Fat events, no matter what part of the country I happen to be in. I attended the tempe event in 06' and then in 08'.

What's changed? Whats the same?

Acts have changed- frat boys with hemp necklaces still there
More bike contraptions- I like the home-made ones rather than pre-fab $4,000 ones. Same size condoned area, however 6X the amount of people- this made for extremely tight quarters. More security, compliments of T.E.A.M.It seems that Tempe is the big money-maker for them- they compromise on the more personal, free feel of the festival for a more spring-break, police infested drunkfest. Hard for kids and families to attend & enjoy (let alone hear the music/talent) If I'm in Tempe next year I wont go- its lost its way. Sorry- if you are looking for authentic beerloving good times without the party party whoohoo spring break fest 08 feel- go elsewhere.
