Arizona Cardinals fans celebrate, line-up for tickets to the NFC championship game

The apocalypse must surely be upon us, as the unlikely Arizona Cardinals are just one win away from appearing in the Super Bowl after trouncing the Carolina Panthers in the NFL playoffs this weekend. Jersey-clad Red Bird fans were out in force at local sports bars and nightspots on Saturday, January 10, as they cheered on the team to victory. Hundreds of fans also flocked to University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday, January 11, for a chance at purchasing tickets for next week’s NFC championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which sold out in six minutes.

Clint Fishel of Phoenix, however, was one of the few Arizona Cardinals fans at the stadium who landed tickets to the game. Lucky bastard.
