What a Long, Strange Desert Trip It's Been: the Sights, Bands and Fans of "Oldchella"

The Who and Roger Waters ended the classic-rock Desert Trip festival on a high (and decidedly anti-Trump) note on Sunday, Oct. 9, the last night of the three-day concert's first weekend. (The entire thing happens all over again next weekend.) The so-called "Oldchella," which also featured The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young and Bob Dylan, attracted fans of all ages and generations, and earned its promoter, Goldenvoice — the same company behind Coachella — a reported $160 million. The biggest question on fans' minds by the end of Sunday night was: Who will they book next year? Photographs by Shane Lopes
