Pay a visit to the @Central Gallery anytime during the month of September and you’ll be transported back to a dark era in our fair state’s history. The art venue’s current exhibit focuses on how Arizona residents were impacted by the Great Depression and President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal. Consisting of historical documents, photographs, and other ephemera from that era, the exhibition – which is part of the Burton Barr Library’s ongoing celebration of Arizona’s centennial — runs daily through September 27.
Tuesdays-Thursdays, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sundays, 1-5 p.m. Starts: Sept. 1. Continues through Sept. 27, 2011
