Food Network fans know Robert Irvine as the British-accented, tough-love host of Restaurant: Impossible. One horribly mismanaged eatery at a time, he’s making America a better place to dine. Now, he’s coming to the Valley, but this time the celebrity chef is bringing his theatrical, multimedia, and multi-sensory performance to the Mesa Arts Center, 1 East Main Street.

This ain’t your mama’s cooking demonstration. Irvine and his production crew promise Robert Irvine LIVE! will include audience participation, chef challenges, and a different show in each of the ten cities on the tour. Audiences in Florida saw the chef rappel down balconies and step-up to cooking challenges with no knowledge of the ingredients — that’s right, Chopped style. Rumor has it the show is also hosted by a live and interactive computer-generated character.
