Armed with scissors and leaves, Spanish artist Lorenzo Duran is busy creating small-scale landscapes, designs, and portraits. 
The technique isn’t new, he writes; Chinese and Japanese artists have been cutting paper  for centuries. The German and Swiss also welcomed paper cutting into their long art history. And while he might be the only artist using leaves instead of paper, he also writes that he’s lucky — he’ll never run out of materials.
