The annual Phoenix Pride parade and festival is fun for people of all sexual orientations. The massive festival took over Steele Indian School Park over the weekend and provided plenty of entertainment and resources for the LGBTQ community. Pride is a positive environment that embodies two important messages: love and acceptance.

We captured tons of folks having a great time, but a handful of ladies and gents really caught our attention. Here are the 21 coolest people we met at Phoenix Pride.

It takes a lot of guts to walk around in public in your underwear, but as they say, "if you've got it, flaunt it."

Plus, there was plenty of eye candy for anyone who's a fan of men in great shape fearlessly walking around in their knickers.

Drag queens are arguably one of the most entertaining parts of Pride. Here, Tucson drag queen Jenna May (center) struck a pose with a couple of her pals.

Phoenician Savannah Stevens served up a fierce Reba McEntire.

Sorry drag queens, but the woman on the left had the best hair at Pride. It was the handiwork of the woman next to her.

We spotted lots of ladies and gents in tutus, but nothing beats an accompanying rainbow boa.

The guy in the center was overjoyed to pose with a group of lesbians (he informed us of this multiple times) -- but wouldn't you also be excited to hang out with these lovely ladies?

Not only are these gals from the Arizona Derby Dames gorgeous -- they can kick your butt. In spite of this, they were very friendly.

Kind Healthy Snacks was on hand to give out free samples and flowers. There was one stipulation: You had to give the flowers to someone else, giving lots of people the opportunity to break the ice.

HTC got folks to break the ice in a different way. The local piercing company set up a scavenger hunt. For example, if you found someone who had both their ears and genitals pierced, you'd get a prize.

Where did these guys find all of that body glitter? Did the sailor ever met some pirates? So many questions.

Hubba hubba.

Don't leave me hanging, I can't be the only person with a pirate fantasy . . .

We caught these guys in the middle of the Cupid Shuffle, and they preferred to show some booty.

Sometimes you can get punished for too much booty.

Or, you could just flaunt your plumage.

This guy's Pride look was tough to beat.

But hey, looks aren't everything, sometimes stolen kisses are all you need.

While we met some great people at the shaded Kalliope stage, and one group really stood out . . .

In spite of all the great outfits, sassy drag queens, and friendly members of the LGTBQ community, it was tough to narrow down the coolest people at Pride. So we'll round up and say everyone at Pride was pretty awesome. Everyone we encountered was friendly, and there was someone great to meet around every corner. The 2014 Pride was once again a great celebration of the LGBTQ community -- see you guys next year!
