"The Little Black Dress: Through the Decades"

Vision Gallery is inviting visitors to learn a little bit more about the LBD with a special fashion exhibition on loan from Fashion by Robert Black. Examples of the wardrobe staple range from the simple to the spectacular with designers including Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Pucci, and Moschino. "The Little Black Dress: Through the Decades" is on view Friday, September 5, through Saturday, October 25. The opening reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on September 5. Hot Rod Night

From 5 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday, September 10 through November 19, more than 250 tricked-out rides will make their way to WaterDance Plaza at Westgate. Here, motor-heads can ooh and aah over vintage vehicles and customized muscle cars. More information can be found at westgateaz.com/hotrod.

September Music Film Series: Kinky Boots

On Sunday, September 7, FilmBar is presenting a free screening of Kinky Boots at ASU Gammage Auditorium in honor of the Tempe venue's 50th Anniversary Season. Although the screening is complimentary, guests are encouraged to bring a canned good to donate to United Food Bank. The screening begins at 7 p.m., but early arrival is strongly suggested.
